In my travails as a haphazard dater and devoted chronicler of said dating, I’ve become a sort of de facto dating expert. Girlfriends, guyfriends and even strangers have all come to me for advice and I like to think that I’ve given out some good, helpful tidbits.
So in the romantic spirit of wanting to share whatever wisdom I might have on the subject of love, I’m starting “Mondays of Love.” Every Monday, I’ll talk about love, sex, dating and answer whatever heart-worried questions you may have.
I want to state from the get-go that I do not subscribe to any rules (capital “R” or otherwise) when it comes to dating and relationships. Part of the reason I want to start Mondays of Love is because I recently read the most ridiculous article about “Dating rules to land the man of your dreams” on one of those female-centric sites. It was penned by an author of some forthcoming dating book and not only was the content annoyingly corny and prissy, they made it a slideshow with soft-lit stock photos of cooing couples that you had to click through in order to read a rule. I know they do that so there are more hits on the site and they can then charge more for ads, but COME ON! We see right through your transparent ploy to get more clicks. I hate those stupid slideshows—just give me the info on one page. At least that way, I don’t waste my time clicking through to discover the advice was totally lame, leaving me both unenlightened and furious that I’ll never get those twelve minutes back.
The other part is that while I can be too lazy to write a book about love and dating, I’m somehow not too lazy to blog about it. This is my response to all those people (all five of you) who’ve asked me why I don’t just write a book on the subject since I truly am so interested in helping people find real love.
Mondays of Love. I promise to give you the info on one page. Write me with your love questions if you’ve got ‘em and I’ll do my best to answer. And you’ll hear plenty about all of my romantic fables and foibles, for better and for worse.
Love you all!

I like the idea of this page Maggie! since I’m still in my journey to find my soul mate through several trial and errors n not succeed yet
I will need your advice then, keep goin’ rockin mama!
This is great! I am excited! How can we send you our love questions? I prefer to send a private message about my love questions!
Yes, email them to maggie@maggiekim.com. But you don’t mind if I answer your question (with details changed and no names used, of course!) in a post? I think so many people have similar love problems, so your question could help others!
so excited for this!
I don’t know how much time you have/are devoting to this but if you have time the last 10 posts or so on my blog have been about my love life drama with a character called TM.
