Well, I was featured in KoreAm Journal, which is the biggest Korean American magazine around. It’s a nice piece, although they did get some things wrong, like the album I’m working on, which is not my old EP, Rocktease, but the upcoming, FULL-LENGTH album, Love Like Everyone.
That album is why Brent and I have been working day and night for six weeks in NYC. Anyway, take a look at the interview. I’m featured in the On The Rise section (whoo-hoo!)
In other album news, my father just sent me his clarinet part for my song, Brother. It’s so fantastic, I want to cry when I hear it. Also, it means a lot to me that my father and I were able to collaborate on music together. That’s something really special and I seriously have to thank Brent for not only having the idea, but for coming up with the arrangement. (My dad’s an old-school classical musician so he doesn’t just “make parts up” like I do.) I can’t wait for everyone to hear it. It’s magical and beautiful.
And thank you, Dad, for your wonderful contribution to my song as well as at least 50% of my musical abilities (Mom’s a pianist, so probably accounts for the other 50%!)
